What is ZiPmatch?
ZiPmatch is a service for people to find a sports or social activity partner, or partners, in their local community ( ZiP code,) by posting or searching for a specific activity. Whether it is jogging, walking dogs in the park, playing golf, finding home work buddies, or any other actitvity you want to do, ZiPmatch is the way to go.
How do I find someone locally?
When you create an account, you can search for an activity by keyword or post an activity yourself so that other people may find you. ZiPmatch is local and your searces are based upon your own ZiP code so when you find someone, they are close by.
How can someone become ZiPmatch friends or partners?
If you click on the "People" button in the top navigation, you will be able to view people close by (in your ZiPcode or surrounding areas), that already are ZiPmatch members. Just click the "Partner Up" button to send a "friend" or "partner" request to that person. When they accept you, the two of you will be "ZiPmatch friends."
When you search for an activity (i.e. jogging), in the "Activity" section, the results will show "Jogging with (username) at..." and a "View" button. If you click on the "username", you will be taken to that person's activity page where you can click on their "Partner Up" button. When they accept you, the two of you will be "ZiPmatch friends."
Can anyone join an activity?
Initially, yes. When you click on the "View" button in the search results for an activity, you will see the details of that specific activity and a "Join" button is visible. Click that button to join. However, the person who posted that activity has to approve you first.
